Simon Longo, aka Dithernoise, is a London based sound composer and video artist who has exhibited at P3, V&A, 291 Gallery, Foundry, Gallery West, London Biennale, The Octagon, Waterman Arts Centre, SPRAWL and internationally. His work includes site-specific installations, audiovisual screenings, laptop and electro acoustic sound performances. Simon’s work is inspired through electronica, dance, techno, ambient, digital and organic aesthetics to create interdisciplinary art with reference to neurosciences and synestesia.
Simon produced 12” vinyls and CDs under several artist names and alias, which are released under the Italian Label Muzak, Tax Disk, Music Man Record, Active Records and its own UK Label Modern Innovation. His 1994 album Poligonheads was re-released in 2007 due to popular demand. His most recent CD was reviewed and featured as Futhernoise.org.
